Hi [FIRST NAME GOES HERE]- Home again home again; Please allow me to introduce myself! Wanderlust Weekly, Mar 2, 2023

Hi Reader!

With three Travel and Adventure Shows in the last seven weeks, we've got a lot of new Local Tourists here, so I thought I'd say hello!

Many of you have been getting emails from me for years. Several of you have become friends (hi!). Meeting you and getting to know you is the best part of my job.

If you're new here, you'll quickly learn that I'm kinda goofy, I love history, and I'm obsessed with writing, road trips, and my husband. I believe every single place has something to offer, and that people are kind (most of them, anyway).

I'm also a cancer survivor, and to the wonderful people who commiserated with me in person at the shows, I'm sending you giant hugs. Thank you.

In addition to going places and writing about them, and sharing what I've learned along the way, I'm entering a new chapter in my writing career as a novelist. My first novel came out last August. My second will be out this month. If you like mysteries with quirky characters and villains you love to hate, you might like travel writer Alex Paige and crew.

I also teach writing. In addition to my big travel writing course, I'm also hosting monthly trainings. This month's: How to avoid clichés like the plague.

If you're curious, you can read more about my story here.

Enough about me. Tell me about you! You can reply here, or join us in our Facebook group. It's private, so you don't have to worry about those non-Local Tourist-types :-)

Love and wanderlust,

Theresa L. Goodrich

Torn wrapping on cover of Betrayed at the Beach, revealing the word "beach"

Hi Reader! Hoo boy. I am way overdue for an update. I didn't realize I hadn't updated you at all about Betrayed at the Beach. Whoops. Fortunately, I've got good news. The book's practically writing itself and I am having SO MUCH FUN. I think you're going to love this one, especially some new characters that I have a major crush on. (I've got an excerpt below, but don't skip to it just yet.) The official launch date is July 15. Yes, that's coming up fast, but that's the beauty of being an...

Hello Reader! And hello June! This is going to be one busy month. Tomorrow, Mr. TLT and I are heading to Galena, Illinois, for a quick overnight. Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa, a.k.a. our happy place (or one of them), recently renovated their spa and we've been invited to check it out. Tough job, I know, but the timing's great because I ended up in urgent care last weekend due to a muscle spasm. Lemme tell you, THOSE are no fun. I'm ready for a massage, some farm-to-table dining, and a nice walk...

Hello Reader! The subject line says it all. Friday was National Road Trip Day, so to celebrate, I'm practically giving away Planning Your Perfect Road Trip.
