Special announcement for the potential (and current) authors on my list - get your free publishing basics checklist

Hello Reader,

I'll be upfront: this email is probably not for you.

Unless, that is, you want to publish a book, or want to make publishing your next one easier.

If this isn't you, please delete and next time I'm in touch, it'll be with my regularly scheduled program of travel stuff.

But if this is you - if you are an author or want to be - I've got some exciting news!

You may know I'm an author myself. I’ve published sixteen books in multiple formats, fourteen of them since April 2021. My backlist includes nonfiction, fiction, and two anthologies with over a dozen authors. Because of my books, I speak across the country, including at the Travel and Adventure Show and, in 2025, the Mensa Annual Gathering.

And I’ve learned firsthand what it takes to go from a completed manuscript to seeing your book on shelves. I've spoken about it at the Midwest Travel Network annual conference, and the most-asked questions at my latest writing workshop were about publishing. I'm also in a gazillion writer groups on Facebook, and I see the confusion as writers just want to get their book out there but don't know how.

Because I've seen over and over the need for a simple resource to help you figure out the many, many steps involved in self-publishing, I created a course. It covers pretty much everything you need to know.

However... it isn't cheap. It's certainly not the most expensive option, but it's also more than a meal out.

I decided I want to make this info accessible AND affordable.

Announcing Simple Self-Publishing!

Sign up for Simple Self-Publishing - for free - and get weekly tips, insights, and resources directly in your inbox. And if you want more?

(This is the really exciting part.)

You can access the entire course for less than $10 a month. There are a few reasons for this:

  1. There can be a lot of expenses in self-publishing, and spending a few hundred before you even get started can put a real damper on things.
  2. A course is a big one-time expense. With a membership, however, you can come and go as you please. Publish one book a year? Sign up when you need the info and cancel when you're done.
  3. We need community! There's nothing like being able to connect with others going through the same thing you are.

The biggest reason is this: self-publishing changed my life. I want to help change yours.

Simple Self-Publishing is launching in a few days. Click here to sign up now and you'll also get your free Publishing Basics Checklist.

Let's make your dream a reality!
